Why Your Cryptocurrency Education Is More Important Today Than Ever?

Cryptocurrency Education

Cryptocurrencies are here to stay and understanding why your cryptocurrency education is more important today than ever will help you navigate the crypto space more effectively.

There are terms associated with the cryptocurrency space that everyone who wants to part in the transfer of wealth that is going on with cryptocurrencies must understand.

More important than cryptocurrencies is the blockchain technology that all cryptocurrencies reside on.

Banks, financial institutions, and practically every industry will be affected by blockchain as it continues to develop.

You can start your FREE Cryptocurrency Education today by clicking on the Cryptocurrency Education link in the menu above!

Why Your Cryptocurrency Education Is More Important Today Than Ever?

Regardless of whether you believe it or not, you are already involved in the cryptocurrency market!

Your bank may be using some of their Assets Under Management (AUM) to buy and hold cryptocurrencies on their books. Additionally, your bank may have a cryptocurrency fund or funds but are only allowing their wealthiest clients to participate.

The working man and woman are left to fend for themselves and it is why your cryptocurrency education is more important today than ever!

The financial industry has put out a lot of F.U.D. (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) about cryptocurrencies and most of it has been directed at Bitcoin.

Because of their fiduciary responsibility they could not offer cryptocurrencies to their clients because the SEC had not put out any regulations regarding cryptocurrencies that banks and financial institutions could use to justify having them on their balance sheets.

While the SEC was coming up with the needed regulations, banks and financial institutions were conduct their due diligence, and once the regulations were in place, they started creating financial assets for cryptocurrencies.

The very same people who told you that Bitcoin was a fraud, and something used by criminals are today investing billions of dollars into Bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies, and blockchain technology.

It is time that you got off the sidelines and got into the game, but you must get your cryptocurrency education!

As always, conduct your own due diligence so that you make an educated decision instead of one based on emotions.

Here’s the Best Way to Get Up to Speed on Crypto for Free

Here’s the Best Way to Get Up to Speed on Crypto for Free

The New York Times recently declared: “We’re All Crypto People Now.”

With the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies soaring, institutional investment in the market on the rise, and a new wave of hype around digitized art with non-fungible tokens (NFTs), everyone is either talking about crypto or thinking about it. If this is not your first bull run, you are familiar with the feeling of exuberance – and concern – that is probably hitting you right now like a date with your crush.

To help balance those feelings – with knowledge – CoinDesk created the Unlocked interactive explainer series. It made its debut last year at Consensus: Distributed, and this year for Consensus by CoinDesk, we’ve expanded the series to include Unlocked 101, a free three-week series designed for an audience that is still wrapping their head around the technology. Folks who maybe bought a little bitcoin (BTC, +5.83%) and are wondering why everyone keeps telling them to HODL; people who want to change their profession to yield farmer but aren’t quite sure if they need a pitchfork; bitcoin plebs who are intaking so much news on the topic but can’t tell what’s signal versus noise.

Even after all these years (I first got into crypto in 2012), I still have lots of questions. As the industry expands and the complexity increases… well, sometimes I am just as lost as the next n00b. And I have always been a learn-by-doing kinda woman, and I believe that getting hands-on with technology is the best way to appreciate its power. Not to mention, pushing the button – whether it is sent, stake or mint – is intimidating, and, yes, I will admit it, I want someone to hold my hand through that process.

So, whether you are just beginning your journey into crypto or need a refresher, the best place to immerse yourself is at CoinDesk’s Unlocked 101 series of free sessions in the lead-up to our annual industry conference, Consensus. Sessions start May 4 and will be held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during the first three weeks of May.

And if you come out of the Unlocked 101 series thinking you are a pro, I recommend joining us at Consensus 2021. There will be more advanced Unlocked interactive explainer sessions – including sessions on technical analysis, VPNs, and crypto cashback – inside the conference, and you will be able to meet and network with the brightest, boldest, and sometimes trolliest people in the industry.

Plus, if you have registered for the free Unlocked 101 series, you will get a discount on Consensus tickets.
